Talbenny Derby - 26/08/17

Turning now to the Talbenny Derby where the birds were released with the other NI convoys ay 10.30 am and the Ballylesson loft of K & B McConaghie & son who have
now won the Y/B Derby for Talbenny 4 times in the last 5 years in 2013 1st open 2014 3rd open 2015,2016,2017 1st open and this record may well stand for a long time . The loft mainly managed by Geoff timed their next bird for 3rd open . At 2nd Open was the Killyleagh partnership of McComb Bros and I would hope to give more details of these Birds and the Birds taking the top three in the two Skibbereen Derbies in a future article .
