Racing in the Mid Antrim Combine Area –

Best bird locally in the second race of the old bird season from Gowran Park was Alan Darragh, he had the Card of the Day in Cullybackey and his winner was timed at 12.08hrs recording velocity 1366 for the 158 miles to Fenaghy Road at Galgorm. Winner in Ballymena & Dist was last season’s Top Prize-winners J Eagleson & Sons, their 2 year old Blue w/f hen won last season from Fermoy finishing 2nd MAC & 11th Sect B. Last week’s MAC winner Paddy McManus had the best seven birds in Ahoghill Flying Club. The top places in the Mid Antrim Combine were won into Rasharkin, J & M Milliken on 1362 ahead of two birds for Danny Dixon.
