Obituary Hall, Alan – We had the sad news over the weekend that Alan Hall had passed away after a period of ill health. Ever present at various pigeon functions over the years he was a regular visitor to the Blackpool Show and more often than not the RPRA Presentation. An ace racer he enjoyed great success in Omagh & District and must have topped the Sect H and Sect A West a record number of times, and at least 5 x 1st Open NIPA, in the early days it was Billy Parkes Busschaerts. More recently he had birds sourced from good friend John Wheatcroft. He was a big time winner in Omagh & Dist for many years including 2018 even when in and out of hospital, has won the Meritorious Award in the RPRA (Irish Region) and several times NIPA Sect Fancier of the Year. Funeral was held at Mountjoy Presbyterian Church on Monday, condolences to his family circle and many pigeon friends. Willie Reynolds HOMER.
