(East Down Combine Programme ) - 13th Aug 2024
Due to an issue with transport logistics for the Dale/Talbenny YB Derby it has been necessary to make a couple of changes to the Young Bird Race Programme. The Committee have decided that the remainder of the programme will now be as follows: 1st Clonmel - Departure Date 16th August, Liberation Date 17th August; 2nd Clonmel - Departure Date 23rd August, Liberation Date 24th August; Pilmore Beach - Departure Date 30th August, Liberation Date 31st August; Dale/Talbenny YB Derby- Departure Date 5th September, Liberation Date 7th September; 2nd Roscrea- Departure Date 6th September, Liberation Date 7th September; Castletown YB Derby - Departure Date 13th September, Liberation Date 14th September. The NIPA will racemark tomorrow Friday for a possible release in Roscrea on Saturday, those with trophies to send in please make sure they are on the transporter and your transport payments also thank you.
The EDC will hamper tomorrow night as scheduled for a race from Clonmel on Saturday. Dorothy Smyth PO.

Ulster federation turn out for our first horse and jockey 55 members have sent 1651 birds I would like to wish you all the very best for tomorrow's race. Lee Wilson.
Saturday 17th August 2024
NIPA 2nd Roscrea - No decision on a liberation at present we will update the site around 10.00am.
EDC Clonmel - There will be no liberation before 10.30am. Next update around 10.45am.
Irish SR Federation - Conditions poor in Dale next update 11.00am.
ISRF - 7,000 birds liberated at 8.30am in Cloughmartin Thurles in a SW wind. Mick.
East Coast Fed (Dublin) - Birds out at 10.30am in Pilmore Beach.
NIPA released in Roscrea at 10.30am very light winds birds have cleared very well.
East Down Combine have liberated in Clonmel at 11.00am in a Lt WSW wind. Dorothy Smyth PO.
Irish SR Fed 12 Noon liberation in Dale.
