Very sad to hear Sefton Thompson has passed away, he was always a great laugh in the club and will be greatly missed.

Thompson Sefton - The sad news came today Monday that Sefton passed away on Sunday evening 19th.January 2025 after a short illness. Sefton,a highly esteemed member of Crumlin and district HPS will be sadly missed in Crumlin club and indeed by his many friends in the pigeon racing fraternity. His jokes came by the bucket load as he kept us all amused on club nights. He was a great character not to be forgotten. And a good pigeon flyer as well,previously a winner of Section Fancier of the year as well as many club and section races and prizes in the King’ cup race from France. Condolences to all his family circle at this sad time. From all members of Crumlin and district HPS.

His funeral will take place on Friday 24 th from Killead Presbyterian Church at 11am.

Due to the adverse weather conditions dads funeral will now be on Monday 27th January at 2pm at Killead Presbyterian Church, followed by interment in Crumlin New Cemetery.
Paul, Stephen and myself would like you to join us afterwards at the Ballymac Hotel in a celebration of dad’s life. Beverley McCombe.
