The race controller at present is looking at either a Friday or Sunday race, it seems Saturday is not good though this may change i will update tomorrow night with further information.

The NIPA will racemark tomorrow Thursday for a possible release in Cloughmartin on Friday.

Currently if conditions do not improve for Saturday the EDC will be going for a Sunday race. Next update tomorrow night.

East Coast ed (Dublin) - Due to unfavourable weather forecast for Saturday, we will be marking Thursday evening in club for a possible liberation from Castletown on Friday.

Mid Ulster Fed will race from Gowran Park on Sunday

Friday 7th August 2026

The EDC will hamper as scheduled TONIGHT (Friday) as conditions are now very good for Saturday.

The NIPA are in Cloughmartin where a release is likely around 9am. The convoy is sitting in 100% sunshine with the wind being a light Southwest. I will update with confirmation of the release shortly after 9.

I can now confirm liberation at Cloughmartin at 9am , birds were released into a light South Southwest wind and the convoy cleared as 1 batch.

Irish SR Fed and East Coast Fed 9.00am liberation in Castletown.

The Ulster Fed liberated in Tullamore at 9.00am.

Saturday 08/08/26

The EDC have liberated in Kilbeggan at 8.30am in a light southerly wind.

Sunday 09/08/26

Mid Ulster Fed Gowran Park - Following a Saturday night collection, the convoy was liberated at 11.00am on Sunday, with the birds racing home in a westerly wind.
