Kerri Hagans racing with husband Francie this season has retained her place at the top in the Premier OB Nat flown this year from Portland. Last season she topped the East Antrim Sect C from St Malo winning the J Campbell Memorial Cup and will return to the annual Ladies Night in November to bring it back home again. The race should have been St Malo again but poor weather over the route from Friday resulted in the birds being brought back to the East Coast of England on Sunday. Liberation was at 9.00am in a SW wind on Monday 1st July and the Hagans loft timed just after tea time to record 1st Club Horseshoe, 1st Sect C & a best ever 4th Open NIPA 482/1,697 doing velocity 1127. Joe Reid from the Ballycarry & District was next best followed by S Beattie & Daughters with the best bird in Carrickfergus.
