Big Result for Campbell & Bigger from Penzance –
East Antrim pigeons were in Penzance, the final race before the OB Nat from St Malo in France, liberation was on Monday 24th June at 10.45am in a Lt North Westerly wind. Due to a poor weather forecast race marking at the weekend had been delayed until Saturday at local clubs. It turned out a hard enough fly, some lofts done very well while others were not so good. No complaints from Campbell & Bigger of the Eastway HPS, best bird in East Antrim winning 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sect and the winner placed 3rd Open NIPA with 9,235 birds competing. In the duplicate Penzance Classic the D & J Campbell & Bigger team will be well pleased with 1st, 2nd & 3rd Sect C and 3rd Open NIPA with 3,147 birds competing.
